ALL SOULS' DAY EXETER

is an inter-cultural community led festival that provides a space for remembrance, grief, and celebration.   Inspired by traditions such as the Polish Zaduszki and the Mexican Día de los Muertos, the festival invites people from across Exeter to gather through creative workshops, performance, food, and shared ritual.

The festival is a cultural event, open to everyone.

What to expect at All Souls' Day Exeter.

Since it began All Souls' Day Exeter has been free to attend and open to anyone wishing to come and celebrate life by remembering and honouring the dead.

It is a participatory festival where you are invited to take part in creative workshops, make and bring meaningful objects to our communal altars and share stories about your loved ones, culture and traditions.

You will also enjoy music, performance pieces and good food but most importantly a welcoming atmosphere where you can freely express grief, reflect on your mortality and develop your relationship with death among community.
